Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the HanRead application (“the App”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HanRead, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

HanRead is an AI-powered tool designed to help users read Chinese more effectively by providing explanations, translations, summaries, and structured insights through the App and its Share Extension.

3. Eligibility

You must be legally permitted to use the App under applicable laws in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age required by law, you may only use the App with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

4. Subscription Service

HanRead offers a “Pro” subscription plan that provides access to enhanced and unrestricted AI features. Subscription details and pricing are displayed in the App Store and may vary by region.

5. Automatic Renewal

Charging. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
Renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Timing. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

6. Subscription Management

You may manage or cancel your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time through your Apple ID account settings in the App Store.

7. Use of the App

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You may not misuse the App, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access its systems in an unauthorized manner.

8. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party AI infrastructure to process content and provide results. Use of such services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including its software, design, and branding, are owned by the developer or its licensors.

10. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you provide. By using the App, you grant the App a limited right to process such content solely for the purpose of providing the requested service.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” basis. HanRead makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of AI-generated results.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HanRead shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

13. Standard Apple EULA

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
